The easiest way to care for your sleeping bag

We know that a Mont Sleeping Bag is a carefully considered purchase for our customers and that maintaining the performance of such an investment is important to you. There isn't an easier way to maintain a sleeping bag's performance than with a silk inner sheet.

A silk inner sheet dramatically reduces the body oils that will accumulate inside a sleeping bag and on the down fill. These oils inhibit the down's ability to loft and trap warmth and will eventually have your sleeping bag looking like a wet slice of square bread instead of the freshly-baked sourdough that it should resemble.

Why silk? Because it is ultralight, compact, quick-drying, luxuriously soft, and machine washable. And it's a lot easier to wash an inner sheet than it is a down sleeping bag!
