While we can't get over there, photos from Mont Ambassador Chris Warner's recent climbs will have to do. As a mountaineer and climber, Chris has been a member of the Mont Ambassador team for over 10 years. We've outfitted him for his expeditions including many summits of the World's great peaks.
“Moving fast, simil climbing as 3 on the Dibona Arete on the Tre Cime Grande ”
“Atop the Cima Piccolissima on the Tre Cime”
“Tofana di Rozes after climbing the Via Costantini-Apollonio, a classic but desperate 22 pitch 23 and we still weren't quite on the summit.”
Chris Warner climbing the sustained Muro Giallo, an 11 pitch grade 25 on the Cima Piccola. This route was put in a modern style and has become a classic of the Tre Cime.
“Climbers on Punta Frida of the Tre Cime in the Italian Dolomites”
“The Central Pillar of Freney, 7a+ (24) a sort after route made famous by tragedy when disaster struck when a four man French team and a three man Italian team were racing for the summit of Mont Blanc in 1961. A storm hit the climbers and four climbers died, one of the survivors being Walter Bonatti. A month later it was completed by a team led by Chris Bonington.”
