Grivel makes this carabiner using their aluminium 7000 to provide the best balance between weight, strength and durability. This screwgate is a pear shape that allows plenty of basket space for clove-hitching into and as a anchor masterpoint. The twin-gate system provides added security through opposing gates, preventing opening if rubbing against rock. The auto-closure of these gates also adds piece of mind.
