It is the adventure that Chris seeks in his climbing both around the world and in his local area. He is an avid developer of new climbs around the Canberra region with over 100 first ascents and we have been pleased to support him on many of his expeditions. The first of which was in 1998 to explore new big wall routes in the Ak-Su Valley in Kyrgyzstan. He has since gone onto climb throughout the Himalaya with expeditions to Cho Oyu, Everest, Gasherbrum I, K2, Broad Peak and Amotsang to name just a few.
He is passionate about all aspects of climbing whether it is bouldering, high altitude mountains, ski descents or parapent. But his travels are not always about climbing, he has twice ridden across Australia solo unsupported and attempted to walk across the Great Sandy Desert. His roots are in bushwalking and this plays strong in what he does: being outside in the wilderness, discovering remote places and enjoying being lost in the peace and quiet of the bush.
