Totally waterproof, 100% windproof and highly breathable Hydronaute PRO fabric protects you from the elements. This 3-layer fabric is tough enough to withstand the use of a heavy pack and has a high pinhole resistance; critical fabric performance features for alpine climbing against sharp ice or scrambling rock in the harsh Australian wilderness.
Spacious enough to fit over a climbing helmet the 3-piece hood has adjustment points around the crown and face for maximum protection and comfort. Combined with Mont's signature wired-brim the Mountain Pro hood can be shaped and fitted for any condition.

Unlike the bonding agents of most microporous fabrics which clog pores, the adhesive on Hydronaute PRO is breathable in itself. This allows for a greater volume of moisture vapour to be transported through the membrane.
