Ultra-light and very compact, the Petzl Tibloc is designed to be used as an emergency ascender.

Description

The tibloc is a lightweight emergency rope clamp for improvised hauling or ascent. Ideal for mountain rescue or where weight is at a premium, the tibloc works on ropes between 8mm and 11mm in diameter. The Tibloc also has an attachment hole for a keeper cord to prevent loss. The Tibloc should be used with a round or oval cross section carabiner with a diameter between 10mm and 12mm.
