The Pirate is a classic HMS/Pear shaped Carabiner. It features a 25mm gate opening and 12.5mm round-stock frame for increased wear resistance. A snag resistant key lock nose and offset gate opening make this a versatile carabiner - perfect for a belay point or use as a general connector. The WireEye releases easily when lifted up, but is secure enough to prevent slings, devices, and lanyards from moving onto the spine of the carabiner. The Pirate is available in Screw-Lock, Auto-Lock, and Rock Exotica's unique Orca-Lock gate mechanism - this is the Auto-Lock mechanism.
