The Petzl ASAP LOCK works as a fall arrest device coupled with the ASAP'sorber Axess, an energy absorbing lanyard. This locking version of the ASAP allows the user to immobilize the device in order to reduce the length of a fall.

Description

The ASAP Lock + ASAP'sorber Axess is a mobile fall arrester, with locking function, and integrated tear-web shock absorber for rescue loads. The ASAP lock is suitable for use as a fall arrest device for workers and rescue operators at risk of falls, slides, and uncontrolled descent. The ASAP will activate even if the user inadvertantly grabs the device during a fall. The ASAP can be locked in position to prevent movement along the rope, and is quick and easy to install and remove from the rope. In conjunction with the ASAP'sorber Axess energy absorber, the ASAP Lock is suitable for use in a two person rescue situation, for loads up to 250kg.
