Additionally, the side plate features a two stage opening mechanism, which provides a secure closure while also allowing installation and removal of rope while the pulley is connected to an anchor. The Omni-Block can be operated with a single hand, and is the ideal pulley for use in confined spaces, and where reducing gain is a critical to success. The Omni-Block is available in 1.10, 1.50, 2.0, and 2.6 inch sheaves in single and double variations. This is the 2.0 inch single.
