DMM's Ceros carabiner features a captive wiregate to assist in preventing cross loading. The captive section sits perfectly on a belay loop. While the spine of the Ceros is scalloped to reduce weight, the basket has a round profile for more friction when used with a tubular belay device.
A horn on the spine prevents assisted braking devices from moving onto the spine of the carabiner or inadvertent cross loading. The Ceros is available with a Screw-Lock, & Double Action & Triple Action Auto-Locking gate mechanisms. This is the Screw-Lock variation.
