The Akimbo is an efficient mechanical prusik for use on Single and Moving Rope Systems. Featuring adjustable friction, incredible ascent efficiency and weighing just 261 grams, this is a true step up from traditional prusiks.

Description

The long awaited Akimbo mechanical prusik will change the way you climb. When fine tuned to your climbing rope, the Akimbo offers incredibly efficient ascent and precision positioning for descending and "working" a tree. The Akimbo installs on the rope easily and friction adjustment is tool free allowing fine tuning of your climbing system at any time. The wire eye allows easy disconnection from a neck tether or tending strap. Compatible with ropes between 11.1mm and 13mm, and with a WLL of up to 130kg.
Safety Notice: The Akimbo is designed for experienced tree climbers. It is not a suitable device for novices and is not rated for rescues.
